INTRODUCTION TO CLASSICAL ARABIC CALLIGRAPHY IN 4 WEEKS
What: Join us for this great opportunity to learn Arabic Calligraphy from a master calligrapher. Dr. Dukhan became a master of Arabic calligraphy by receiving his Ijazah from Istanbul's master calligrapher Hasan Celebi (pronounced Chalabi) in Thuluth and Naskh styles in August 2009, after completing eleven years of study.
When: Saturday, JUNE 9 - JUNE 16 - JUNE 30 - JULY 14 - 10AM-11:30AM (4 sessions)

Age Limit:12 and above. Student should be able to properly grasp use of pen and ink pot and also be able to follow instructions.

Quran Reading/Tajweed Class for Non-Sunday School Kids - Ages: 5-15yrs - Now Enrolling for Summer Session
What:This is not a Quran Memorization Class, but a Quran reading class in small groups, per each student reading level, for an hour, twice a week. Its designed to improve your child s reading skills, learning tajweed rules and taking your Qiraat (art of reading) to the next level. Taught in collaboration with teachers from Sunday School and the Amirky Institute, Ypsilanti, these summer time evening classes will be conducted in the MCWS classrooms.
