MCWS has placed multiple Blue Recycle Bins with specific signs at various locations including Gym, Men and Women Lobby, Kitchen and Basement (Youth Lounge). Community is requested to follow these Strict guidelines as part of Canton Township when dropping items in these recycling bins.

ACCEPTABLE ITEMS

• Household plastics/jugs/bottles
• Steel, Tin and aluminum Cans (Empty cans only)
• Clear glass
• Plastic bags
• Newspapers / Magazines / Catalogs (Any size, remove all bags, strings and rubber bands)

UN-ACCEPTABLE ITEMS

• Garbage / Food Items
• Paint cans
• Wood Items
• Shredded Paper
• Electronic Devices/ Cell Phones
• Batteries / Cartridges
• Paper milk or juice cartons
• Styrofoam containers/packing
• Chemicals (dry or liquid)
• Colored glass
• Household cleaners
• Medical waste
• Flammable liquids

PLEASE NOTE:
If Canton Waste Recycles (CWR) notices an unaccept- able item in the bin, the bin will NOT be picked up. Please refer to the SSR guide for a complete list of what is and is not accepted.
