6.MCWS Youth Director Updates - Welcome Br. Shafi Ahmed! Alhamdulillah, we are pleased to announce that our MCWS Youth Director position has been filled by Br. Shafi Ahmed. He has been an integral part of the IAGD community since his high school years, and has worked tirelessly with their youth and other youth groups across southeastern Michigan, masha'Allah. Br. Shafi has been involved with a myriad of youth organizations, alhamdulillah, including MSA, MYNA, MMYC, and Camp Al-Hilal, just to name a few. He has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree, and is currently in the process of completing his Master's in Accounting.
We are very excited to have Br. Shafi join our MCWS team, and look forward to good things ahead, insha'Allah. We ask that you keep him and our entire youth community in your du'as, and be sure to show him your support and encouragement!

What: As part of Community Initiative and also in an effort to join the "Neighborhood Tutoring" program launched by the Plymouth-Canton Citizens for Diversity and Inclusion (PCCDI), MCWS is looking for talented individuals with tutoring/teaching experience in MATH, Science and Language Art at Elementary, Middle School or High School levels, and/or professional certifications (such as PMP, CQE, CRE, DBA)
Purpose: Willing to volunteer their time in the evenings or during weekends to help benefit the community
